What if I want to change my product?

Exchanges and returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of order, free of charge.

If you wish to exchange or return your product, initiate the return request process here. Please make sure to use the same email address provided when ordered and follow the step by step guide. If any trouble, feel free to reach out so we can assist you.

For purchases made at a partner store

If you purchased at a partner store, we recommend you to contact them directly to get the necessary support.

How do I prepare the package for return?

Prepare the products as you received them initially, in their original packaging and with all its items inside. Print out the return label and place it on the shipping box, making sure it is correctly sealed. Go to the nearest USPS or UPS shipping point (check reference in the shipping label) and send us your order back.

The product you return must come without any sign of use. We will inspect the product before proceeding to any exchange or refund.

How does your warranty work?

The Nest Warranty is Karün’s unique warranty. We commit to always be there for you:

- We will always support you; every problem has a solution.

- Manufacturing defaults are covered for a period of 1 full year, offering free exchange or repair.

- If your product has been damaged by wear and tear, we can always offer the possibility to repair at a reasonable cost.

- If your product has reached end of life, we can offer you to recycle it, with a 25% discount on a new purchase.

 

If it falls under warranty: 1-year warranty on manufacturing defaults on all Karün products (excl. lenses).  Karün will repair if possible, exchange if not repairable and recycle the broken frame / parts. Free return for client.

If it does not fall under warranty: do not hesitate to contact us to check the repairing options (not valid for lenses) or the recycling process in exchange of a 25% discount ticket.

What should I do if I have a problem with the product?

If you experience any problem with your Karün frames or sunglasses, please contact us at usa@karunworld.com or through social media. We will stand by to help within 24h tops.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking information, including: the tracking number of your parcel and a tracking link from the carrier´s web page so you can follow up the process.

In case you do not receive the email with the information or experience  any delivery problem, reach out via email usa@karunworld.com or social media and we will support you within 24h. Make sure to indicate your order number so we can help you better.

How long does it take to arrive?

Order before 12:00 GMT-4 (Florida) we will ship the same day, if ordered after 12:00 we will ship the next business day.

USA:

Free shipping: we are using USPS priority mail which takes between 1-3 days. Paid shipment: If you have selected a faster shipping method, the delivery time will be as indicated during our purchase.

Canada:

USPS priority mail: between 4-8 days Paid shipment: If you have selected a faster shipping method, the delivery time will be as indicated during our purchase.

Note: Bear in mind that we do not cover eventual custom fees related to your order.

How can I ask to be notified when a product is in stock?

Check the website of the model you are looking for and you will find a “contact me when stock arrives” button or contact customer service at usa@karunworld.com for more information. We will be happy to let you know when the product is on stock, even though they might be some discontinued products, we will let you know.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is FREE in the USA and Canada on orders over $119 USD.

What are the measurements of the frames?

The size guide for each frame can be found by clicking on SIZE GUIDE below the price tag in the product page.

To know which frames fits you best, measure the width of your face. The length of your glasses should be slightly wider, but usually no more than the width of a finger.

What does it mean to have polarized lenses?

Polarized lenses neutralize glare, providing a more focused vision. It reduces reflection, allows for true perception of colors, and improves visual comfort.

Vision in bright sunlight is perceived as considerably more relaxing and less tiring while wearing polarized lenses.

Karün means "to be nature" in Mapudungun, the native language of the ancestral Mapuche culture.

Why is the environment so important to you?

The environment is important to us because we believe that we are all nature and we think the reality we live and build as a society is a consequence of our perception: If we see ourselves as something different or superior to nature, we will build a world separate from it. But if we see ourselves as part of nature, we will build a world in harmony with it.

That is why our purpose is to inspire the world into reflecting on the question: what would the world look like if we understood that we are all nature? This same question may be the founding cornerstone of our company, and after 8 years we don't have an answer to it - and probably never will - but reflecting on it has led us to make every decision taking care of nature, ourselves and all living beings. Nature inspired us from the beginning to create products under a different logic; we want to step forward from the existing business model that rules many companies, which generates a big amount of waste and pollution and get closer to the natural cycle of life where everything is valuable so it can be reused and nothing becomes waste. We know we can do things differently and still create a high-quality product, let's not take this planet for granted.

Where are the glasses produced and why?

After collecting the discarded material in the south of Chile (fishing nets, ropes, and metals from Lebu and Cochamó); it is converted into raw material by our recycling partners. Then it is sent to Italy, South Korea and Turkey where the frames are manufactured with the latest technologies, ensuring that we meet the best quality standards. 

To compensate for the carbon emissions generated by our operation, due to shipments of raw material and then the final product, we measure our footprint and net it with carbon credits. This way we have become a CarbonNeutral ® Company.
